The New Year is officially here!
We hope that everyone has had a fantastic Holiday Season and is looking forward to the great new year that is upon us.
Yes, our prices have gone up like we said they would have to but, we have been able to cut some of the shipping costs down quite a bit. Also, as far as shipping goes, we plan to be able to offer more "Flat Rate" options for people in the upcoming year. We have had major problems dealing with the postal service and we think we may have finally gotten most of the wrinkles ironed out.
Also, there is much more good news coming this year. We plan to be offering our rubs/seasonings in larger volumes of 1lb and 3lb amounts. Along with bringing out a new rub/seasoning or two. There are plans of also having customer discounts available throughout the year so staye tuned for those.
2011 truly was a great year for us, even in a time when we know that budgets are tight, our customers showed how much they continue to love our products. We thank you all for this and look forward to all the exciting new things this year will bring. |

Well, it's that time of the year again. We're looking at shutting up the shop doors until spring. Don't worry, you'll still be able to purchase sauce online and at other local retailers at well but, the ribs will be gone until spring.
So, if you haven't stocked up for the long winter, now is the time to do it! We have a severely limited supply of ribs and right now it is a first ordered first served basis. Odds are we won't have enough to make it until Saturday of this week so, you better get in early.
For those who gave the gift of sauce for Christmas this year, we thank you. It might be too late now to get an order to your friends and family in time but, 2012 is just around the corner. Don't miss out on stocking up your pantry at the 2011 prices while you still can.
We hope everyone is having a great holiday season and getting to spend lots of time with friends and family. |

This normally would be the time of year to be thinking about giving the gift of sauce to your friends and family and it still is but, you might also want to think about giving the gift of sauce to yourself.
Truth is, we haven't raised our prices in 5 years but, with the way the economy has been we've had to make a choice, either we allowe the quality of our products to suffer or, we raise our prices. I simply will not allow us to produce a product that we are not proud of. There is a quality and an integrity that you as our customers have come to expect and I refuse to let you down. Therefore, the prices are going to be going up at the start of the new year. I won't give you the exact prices just yet but, it is going to be around a 20%-28% increase. I know this might seem like a big jump to some of you but, it will mean that we won't have to raise our prices again for quite a long time. Also, as a side note, many of our competitors charge much more than we do already and it doesn't make much sense for us to be providing our customers with just as good, if not superior, product for far less than the rest.
It is our hope in the next up coming year that we might be able to have some occasional discounts or sales at times to o show our appreciation to our loyal customers but, I can't guarantee when they will be or for how much at this point in time.
The good news though is that you still will be able to get sauce at the 2011 prices until the first of the year. So, when you're thinking about giving the gift of sauce this year, don't forget to give some to yourself as well. Don't forget, if you are planning on having your order get there in time for Christmas, you need to place it by December 18th at the latest.
We thank all of our loyal fans, friends, and customers for their support and look forward to an outstanding holiday season and a fantastic new year.
Sincerely,
Tom Porter
Head Sauce Maker & Co-Owner
P.S. If you are looking to pick up ribs before our shop closes, you need to get your orders in now! We are already pushing our meat producers to maximum production to fill the orders we have already gotten and can't guarantee to have any in stock come the 23rd of December so order now! |
